Analyzing Results
Now that SoundSage has analyzed your songs. here is how you can use that information to create your own music.
Chords
Chords form the backbone of most music, they give a song its tone and vibe. To compose similar music try using the commonly used chord types from your set of songs. Also try using the relative chord patterns which are used in your set of songs.
Notes
The analyzed notes are those from the melody, and most often from the singers voice or a guitarists solo. These notes are highlighted over the chords and are what makes a song memorable. Try using the repeated combinations of notes from the set of songs when constructing your own melody.
Musical Key
The musical key of a song is what dictates what chords and notes are used and forms the basis of a composition. From your analyzed songs try using the musical keys with the highest correlations to start composing your own songs.
Tempo
The tempo of a song plays a large factor in determining the mood and the energy of a sons. SoundSage find the tempo of a song in beats per minute. Try using a tempo similar to the average of your given songs to have a similar vibe and feel. But keep in mind a calmer song will have a lower tempo and a more energetic song will have a higher tempo.
